No, I haven’t read the book featured in this episode, but I’m still ready to see what happens. This is a fantastic cover! I love the implications in James’s eyes being visible while Jefferson’s aren’t. Really switches up the typical roles of authority they have in their daily lives.
Yesss- and the fact he’s turning the page for him. Butler can be a strange role as in some ways you control your master’s life- you wake him, dress him and feed him. It’s something I’m exploring more with a Lady’s Maid in the Lady Gays.
