I could tell you what victorians used for lube but it’s kinda gross so let’s just say it’s a magical ointment made from an ancient recipe and all organic ingredients.
The Butler is abiding by the ‘no more than four fingers’ rule which has to be the standard in UK porn now due to our weird obscenity laws. But then someone’s four fingers is the equivalent of another’s entire hand (depending on if you have massive yaoi hands or tiny uke digits) so clearly we should just keep a ruler on hand at all times to standardise what porn is considered obscene or not.

That is true. My husband’s thumb is almost two of my fingers. One of the reasons I told him fisting will NEVER be on the table. I am open minded about trying a good many things but his hands are just too freaking huge for me to be up for that. >.<
This made me look at my own hand and panic, wondering how big his thumbs could be…but then I remembered I have freakishly large hands, so they’d probably look average to me. It’s a curse, really lol.
I am just imagining a chibi anime tab with a ruler in that room now :)
