Sir, Butler and Boy ~ For Starters ~ END
Ahh, the end was upon us quicker than I even realised! Feel free to let your imagination run wild about James’ introduction into servitude- Monday we head straight into a Sir & Butler story called ‘A Tailored Fit’ which is an intense silent story about two men who no longer need words.

I love this so very much. More than I have words for. And this page sort of exemplifies why.
Showing instead of telling. “Your beloved butler.” The way that Jefferson blushes so nicely. The way that he looks at his young master when they’re like this. How he isn’t sure that it’s okay to want him so much. The way that John knows just how to handle them both so easily. Just… perfection.
I would very much love to see the rest of how this went, but I’m very happy to see it end with such perfect tension.

I think the butler’s guilty feelings are my crack- if you haven’t already give the entire series a quick re-read with that in mind. It makes Fine Dining particularly juicy.

Did the re read and I noticed something else that I LOVED. The way you don’t show faces to show responses in a lot of situations. The trembling of a hand show so much more than a facial expression on some pages and I adore it. That showing instead of telling thing.
I have to say, that’s something that really pulls me from page to page.

It was tempting to do this one first but I quite liked getting thrown in the middle of their dynamic and having to figure it out over time.

Great story! I must admit, I’m a little confused, though. When does the flashback from Morning Ablutions fit into this? http://www.discordcomics.com/comic/sir-butler-and-boy-morning-ablutions-page-8/ I assumed when I saw that that was the first time they had all ‘played’ together, and that it would fit in either before or during this chapter?
I think this chapter fits in before that scene. Here we see James make his choice. The flashback is when they’re actually getting ready for a scene and Jefferson is wanting to back out.
That scene is set after they’ve been playing together for a little while but Jefferson has yet to interact with James much. There’s a big difference between playing as two subs to a master than two masters to one sub!
Oh my goodness, the dialogue here (and in the entire comic) is just exquisite.
This was absolute perfection! I love the way he asks the boy which role he wants to play!!! It was sexy, and so respectful and yet very dominating at the same time!
I know! I am still baffled how all that was achieved at the same time.
Ahhh why thank you! I hope it shows that domination is a state of such comfort in oneself that you don’t see anything as a threat. Now to ponder what this would have been like if James wanted to be the one making the rules…
I love to think how Boy tries to keep up caring for his upper-class duties, while being the Boy.

– Yes.
– The Smiths are coming for dinner next Sunday, would you care to prepare some flowers? And, um, the wardrobe in the guest room is crooking.
– Very observant of you, Boy, I will see to this.
Ahhh what a lovely thought- the first time James orders John to do something after they’ve played together. The stutter and moment he realises what he’s doing. ..

I love this comic. I enjoy that in their games the roles are a bit inverted in respect to their house roles.
I like a little master/servant thing but it’s always a bit weird if the master is still in charge. Here’s to changing things up!
When Sir is the lowest on a social scale, they have a luxury of a perfect consent. There is no risk of abusing power, no “what if he does this just to keep the job/have better perks?”.
I didn’t consider that, makes sense.
