THAT BACKGROUND NEVER AGAIN. Took ages and doesn’t really give the right feel of the room for me- a short cut that became a long cut.
In amusing coincidences I woke up early to do this page and realised I was wearing my robe to draw it. Mine is teal but I imagine John’s to be a deep purple- red is more classic but so very cliche.
Should it be principle instead of principal?

It’s interesting and nice to see John’s less assertive side as well. It fleshes out the character, gives him another dimension. Somewhat a vulnerability, maybe? Which in turn makes his role in their games all the stronger. I like this. Also, beautiful art, especially the robe and the backgrounds.

I don’t think so. It’s appropriate on many levels, if a bit anachronistic.
