Help decide the next Side Stories!
We’re coming to the end of the Charlie/Jamie side story- next up is a story on Kelly followed by STEVE’S DAD. I’ve got a lot of stuff I’d like to write for Kelly (up to 18 pages), but only 20 pages of updates before the side story PDF needs to be finished. Vote to decide what split I do!
As little Kelly as can be for me, I never liked her character.

I’d rather see the whole story at once(well, in one contiguous series of updates, not updated all on the same day). Is there going to be a side story break after these 20 pages of updates? If so, then I’d want to see all of Kelly’s story before the break, and just hold off Steve’s dad until after. If there’s not going to be a break, going straight into Steve’s dad seems fine for me. I definitely want to finish one before the other, though!
I’d like not to vote cuz’ I think you should write as it comes to you.. I mean, if you’ve got ideas and things you wanna write for Kelly, and not so much for Steve’s dad, well, I guess it wouldn’t do any good to “make you” write less on Kelly and more for Steve’s dad.. :/
As far I’m concerned, I’m fine with what you’ll decide. Don’t wanna interfere in your work, and risking to induce something you wouldn’t like doing as you want.

Pretty much this. I went for the “18 of Kelly” choice since that’s what Tab said was planned out, though.
Goodness, that’s tricky. My instinct (and my vote, for what it’s worth) is to go with the story you have in mind. If you have a lot you’d like to share about Kelly, go for that.
Personally, I’d love to know more about her.
Awesome as Steve’s dad is, if the story is with Kelly, defo go there.
As much as I’d love to see Kelly, we might as well make it even. I’m voting for 10 pages each.
I did vote, for 18 Kelly, 2 Steve’s Dad, but that was really for the reasons people have stated above. I would rather see the stories you are most compelled to tell, however that breakdown works out.
I’m in the exact same boat. Trying to “force” a story often doesn’t turn out well, and following where inspiration leads you is way more fun anyway. Tab, I appreciate you asking for input from your readers, but at the end of the day, it’s your story to tell. :-)
I generally agree with the comments above regarding writing the piece as it comes/ however you feel.
In addition it also seems like reading the results isn’t necessarily very straight forward. Right now for example, it appears that an equal split is winning, but the vast majority of people who have voted want some sort of more Kelly option.
I guess I’m just saying there are a lot of ways to read a pole and you should do what you want.
I didn’t vote in the poll, but I would like to put my vote on whatever you think works best, Tab! :) I’m not very picky – I like both Kelly and Steve’s dad, so I have no real preference.
I vote for more Kelly, I’d like to see her perspective on things (and really, can you trust a little brother to have an unbiased view of his big sister?). I’m not saying Steve’s dad isn’t great, but he’s such a strong father figure that it might be a bit like walking in on your parents to see a sexy side story with him. Maybe just a bit of romance and fade to grey.
I think you should be the one deciding what feels best Tab =)
