Now for the interesting part-

THE FREE BOOK FUND

So, my printer accidentally sent me 500 copies of the book instead of the 150 I ordered. (which was an interesting thursday morning, let me tell you…) After discussing with the kickstarter backers I’ve decided to donate a big chunk of the books. The only problem is that shipping is hella expensive and I have to sell books to be able to afford to send them. So for all of 2016 I’ll be donating £10 from every hardback sale to ‘The Free Book Fund’ which will pay for the base costs of sending books to libraries, organisations and individuals who can’t afford these books all over the world. Depending on shipping costs and book sales I’ll be looking to give 100 of these away to eager recipients.

To sign up for a free book all you have to do is fill out this form:

SHADES OF A FREE BOOK FUND

If you know any organisations/charity or libraries that would appreciate this book you can either apply on their behalf or send the details to them to do it directly.

Please spread the word about on twitter, facebook and tumblr- the more people who purchase books the more ones I can send out! So along with purchasing a beautiful book, you can sit happy knowing someone else is getting one too.

THE FINE PRINT

-One sign up per person.
-Charities, libraries and relevant organisations get bumped up to the top of the list, rest is first come first served within my discretion.
-These books are a special edition so don’t have an ISBN. However if requested one can be applied to the inside for library use.
-Please don’t use this to send queer comics to your homophobic neighbour. Request one of your own and deliver it in person if you must.
-If I send you a book and it gets lost it’s sad but I can’t send you a new one.
-I will send you an email when you’re the next on the list to get you excited
-I’ll keep a tally of the total of the fund along with the number of books sent which I’ll post up every month so you can see how it’s been doing.
