Wow, this is almost 20 years old, huh? Goddamn. I first read in the mid 2010s, when I was a baby queer frantically googling “LGBT webcomics” and devouring anything I could find.
I don’t know if you still read comments on here, or ever, but: Kaos Komix was the first time I ever heard of a trans man, or even saw trans people depicted as complex, sympathetic humans. Tom’s Story resonated with me so deeply that I think I cried; I came out as trans two years later. I’m happier in my life than I ever could have imagined ten years ago, and it is, at least in part, thanks to this series. Thank you for making it.
Hey thanks for taking the time to leave such a nice comment! I do check on here but a bit sporadically. I think I started posting this one 2006 so one more year before it hits the 20 year anniversary
Hmmm interesting start to a seemingly interesting story :3!
