I think I interpreted this page differently than some people. Tab mentioned somewhere that this side story takes place shortly after Tom had some major surgery. I thought the picture was of Alex taking care of him as he’s recovering, which I really appreciate. Being cared for while sick (even bathed) is a very intimate and vulnerable thing, and it’s not a type of intimacy we see in fiction very often. I’m curious to see how Tom feels about needing to be cared for.
The one sitting on the tub IS Alex. He has no tattoos or piercings, and then when you look closely at the one crouched down, you can see a spot that is very clearly tattoo-like.

Huh. So, I am relatively short, (possibly grey)-A, have dual toned hair, love video games, and my name is Alex. The only difference is that I am the transguy. If I ever fall in with a cis man who is otherwise similar to Tom, I am just going to assume that you are telling some strange reversal of my life story.
It could also be that Tom had his hysto, and that’s not a minor surgery, either.
Hysterectomy don’t stop you from being able to wash your hair (nor taking a shower) ^^ So yep, chest surgery :D
