Probably people who don’t like him because of his short temper, his habit of not thinking things through before acting, etc.
But all these characters have faults. Not to say that this justifies the things Tom did wrong, but I like that these faults make Tab’s characters HUMAN. And humans make mistakes.
And Tom is still my favorite. .-.
Oh, I just meant it as a joke, hah. But I tend to think all of the main characters are at least a bit likeable.

OK, so can I ask a stupid question because my google-fu turns up contradictory answers? And have you just ignore me if the question is too stupid or offensive somehow?
I notice that Tom has a more stereotypically masculine jawline now. Is that an evolution of your drawing style, or can transitioning really change the basic shape of a trans person’s face?
Testosterone will actually do that, yeah! Try looking at some videos where trans dudes take a photo a day their first year on T – it’s incredible! Heck, my fiance’s only been on his for 4 months and it’s a surprising change. c=

Actually, the main change would be due to fat redistribution. Over the course of many years, eventually bone structure may change to become more masculine, but it wouldn’t happen that fast. I don’t think anyone’s proven that bone structure does change though, so it’s just hearsay for now.
It can happen reaaaally fast for some trans-guys to get their jaw (and neck) “thickened”… It depends, some people get that kind of change really early, others don’t. It doesn’t mean it’s bone structure change (I agree with you on this point), but it’s not only due to fat repartition, it’s also due to muscle “growing”… But yeah, it can be fast.
It is believed that there are changes to the bone structure (along the lines of the changes that occur in bio-male puberty), but that it’s slower than the fat redistribution and muscle development. It needs to be proven over a long-term study, looking at men’s faces before and after transition. Believe it or not Tom’s jawline is actually the same as Nay’s! It’s true that testosterone or plain old genetics give trans men very masculine jaws but I think fans just see whatever they want to see in Tom.
Some psychological studies have shown that gendering faces comes more from social cues than from actual structural differences along gendered lines. So it totally makes sense that Tom and Nay could have the same face structure but be read as different genders.

ooohkay, I was so confused by who was the original “sick” person in the discussion, because recovering is so different than sick that I was like, wait, why would Tom be sick for wanting to have sex with you?
