     Through personal experience getting more blankets does not solve the problem unfortunately

       Not at all. I’m the worst balnket hog and I remember the one time I slept over at my girlfriend’s in high-school she had 3 blankets on her bed and by morning time I was snuggled up in one blanket and the other 2 were on the floor beside me. :P

         I think it can work sometimes. My partner is a cover hog so we each sleep with our own comforter. Usually I keep mine throughout the night…or I forcefully take it back from him. :P We don’t use any other sheets though. If we tried to share any sheet I don’t think the separate comforter thing would work out.

   Heh, I’m a total blanket hog: I sleep with a super king duvet… my partner only gets a double. Which I sometimes snag a corner of. Poor thing. :-p

   Lovely story. Looking forward to the next one.
