Also, yes those are gloves and yes people use them during sex sometimes because they’re useful as hell.
In a similar vein to the Tom/Alex story, different trans ladies are comfortable doing different things, don’t take this as a blanket statement about the sex lives of trans people.
Second the comment about the gloves. Very useful if you want to snuggle after and don’t want to rush right to the sink.
Also, important for safe sex. Look at your hands, how many of you have small cuts or nicks around the cuticles? I know I do, even worse because I bite my nails.

I absolutely adore how much you represent safe sex in your comics. With how Steve uses a condom on his fingers and now this. It’s such a relief to see it in comics!

So…I had to google what knickers meant. I was thinking it meant shoes for some reason but neither of their feet are even seen on this page. But now that line makes infinitely more sense to me!
I’m also loving the representations of different types of safer sex throughout these new side stories. I’ve always found gloves easier to use than a condom for finger play. And I love the biting!
Gloves are awesome.
You can get them in various colors: blue, pink, purple, green, white, black and so on. And it’s easy to get nitrile gloves if you’re allergic to latex.
Gloves are good for sex too!

Black gloves are commonly used for tattoo artists (at least, where I live in Australia) since I adore tattoos, I find something attractive about black gloves because of that but if you don’t like black gloves or find them not very appealing at all, that’s completely okay! We’re all different and have different tastes ^_^
Non-latex gloves tend to be alternate colors than latex; green, purple, black. it lends itself to one or both of them having some sort of latex sensitivity.
Its nice to see that its a thing that other people like to leave their knickers on too, I was starting to think that was just me.
Why oh why do more folk not take the time to represent safe sex in comics?!
It doesn’t have to slow the pace or get in the way, it’s something that we should all be wary of! It’s real and necessary.
Yet again, hats off to you, Tab, for showing things like they are (or should be) without making a big fuss about it.

Safe sexy-times yay! Though I always feel mad at my body/relieved I’m in a safe monogomous relationship (with no baby risks, yay snip!) considering latex is not my friend. Though their are awesome latex free condoms that are just as effective: Mates SKYN is a good brand for that.
