Hazel is a smart kid. I feel like she’s taken the peace keeper role in all the messy divorce business, which is both a good and bad thing.
Just a quick update on the gender nebula t-shirt- after some discussions with the t-shirt printer I’m not going to be able to get the results I want with a screen print so I’m putting that idea on the back burner. I’m disappointed but I don’t want to sacrifice the quality or design, I’ll let you know if I get any more ideas!
Onto better news- with London MCM comic con coming up I’ve got all my new badges now in stock, and updated the store with them!
Oh, Chris. :'( That last panel really brings home how much he misses his kids. Divorce isn’t easy on anybody.
Lol.. I didn’t get that at all. Not that he doesn’t miss his kids, but that the emotion in the last panel was relief – like, “oh, thank god no one died/that went WAY better than I was afraid of/I have such an amazing boyfriend”
Yeah, totally a collapse after an emotional rollercoaster of DOOM! Treading on eggshells around Pearl, trying to be normal with them when nothing’s normal, the terror of Anwar showing up and feeling like he might have to choose between two lives (again!), the happiness of having a fun family evening but dreading the inevitable end, worrying if Bitchy McBitchface will cause a scene…and in the end he got to just be himself, have his kids accept him & his new life, and have his new partner fit so smoothly into his family, with no drama at the end. Pretty sweet relief alright!
