Queen Harold the Sassy
Harold Godwinson was the last Anglo-Saxon to be crowned King of England, having died at the Battle of Hastings in 1066. This image is based on a fifteenth-century stained glass window found in Canterbury Cathedral. Obviously, Harold’s real hair was nowhere near as sassy.
