New Comic Announcement!
I’ve got a script, I’ve got characters, I’ve got 30 pages thumbnailed, but most importantly: I’ve got inspiration again!
I’m putting Treble Clef in indefinite hiatus and will be doing a new comic called Infernal Relations instead.
I feel like I’ve been in a bit of a limbo this year, always waiting for Treble to kick off but it never getting the momentum going. I took a month off drawing it to sort out Come Together stuff, hoping after a break I would be good to go again, but alas no. I’ve never done a comic hiatus before, but I think as much as I want to tackle the hard stuff Treble brought up, right now I need something a bit lighter… enter Infernal.
Infernal Relations is about a desk demon called Gregor who keeps having the Angel Ambassador flirt with him. Inhuman Resources have made it very clear to all the demons who work at InCorp that Angels are explicitly off limits…
I’ve got a thumbnail of the first 30 pages that make up the first chapter. It’s wonderfully cliched office rom-com around a big soft demon boy and a suave trans masc angel… which also asks some serious questions about what counts as good anyway. Over the next month I’m going to sketch the a comic, in the meantime my patreon will be filled with concept sketches, using the simple system of $1 SFW and $5 NSFW.
When the comic goes live on the main site I’ll be posting all the romantic stuff publicly, but any explicit scenes will stay here, particularly so I can keep it safe from image ripping porn sites who label trans masc as various slurs.
I can always go back to Treble Clef at a later date, and might release the script to folk who are curious about the story, for the first time in a long time I’m enjoying drawing, and that can only be a good sign.

Yay! Drawing that makes you happy! Yay! More comics for us! Wins all round! Khaos Komix is still one of my favourites. I bought the books and the spawn is almost old enough to be allowed to “find” them in the bookcase.

I’m really excited about your new comic it looks good and i can wait. i’m really happy that you had this burst og inspiration. I’m not gonna lie though I’m a little sad your not finishing treble clef. i was really excited to see where you were gonna take the story.
I’m sorry to hear you’ve been struggling with Treble Clef. It’s rough when you lose inspiration for something midway and it can be even harder to step away from it. That having been said, everything you’ve done has been great so I’m sure this new project will be too!
Honestly, I feel great about this! The comic looks adorable and fun, and you should be able to work on things you enjoy!

It’s sad that you have to step away from Treble Clef, but I’m glad you’ve found something that makes you so happy to create. Your description of Infernal Relations has certainly piqued my interest, and I look forward to it!
I’ve just gone back to read all the way from Khaos straight (ha!) Through Sir, Butler and Boy, which I hadn’t read yet! I think I shall abstain from Treble Clef for now, as reading a half-finished story can leave me rather melancholic, but I must say I’m damn impressed by your progress as an artist and writer, Tab. It makes me hopeful that I will look back in years to come and acknowledge my own progress in writing.

I understand that you’re putting Treble Clef on hiatus, and happy that you’ve found a new project you’re more enthusiastic about.
But I’m confused as to why it seems to have been completely purged from the site. I dropped by to re-read some of it, couldn’t find it, couldn’t even find any *mention* of it anywhere. I was starting to wonder if I was confusing you with another artist entirely until a deep google found this announcement on a different comic’s first page.
I decided to pull it all, if I restart it then I’ll reinstate it. I didn’t want new readers to come on my site just to find something started and never finished.
