Frank the submissive yeti

I had a hard time figuring this one out as there’s so many aspects of submission and everyone’s different! Here’s one look at the assumption that sub people live the role 24/7 and are all exhibitionists.

Which monster should I do next?

I thing you should mention Dame Sonatina in another comic before you do a comic featuring her :) just my 2 cents :)

      Interesting idea- why’s that?

Probably continuity/connectedness. Having Frank as a character after being mentioned in Queen Ravishment’s comic links up the series more.

I’d happily read an entire series on Frank – maybe you could make multiple comics for him to show different aspects?

What sort of thing would you like to see covered? Think of your most horrible of cliches!

To be honest, I would read about him even if no cliches are covered, because he is just so cute.
After FSoG, many seem to believe that “submissive” equals “doormat”, so maybe you could go from there. Frank could get an opportunity to tell the protagonist that Queen Ravishment did, in fact, NOT stalk and bully him to make him submit to her, and that he would not have tolerated such behaviour. (Nothing against people who have too little self-esteem to be able to defend themselves against an abuser, I suffer from lack of self-esteem, too, but I hate it when authors create such characters and idealize them.)

Second that! A comic series about all the Minority monsters (I’d assume they all live in the same universe) with Frank being the lead!

Honestly, I’d love a ‘KhaosKomix Pt.2’ with more indepth and less common sexualities, genders, identities and passions (kinks). Just finished Jamies story and I loved them all! Maybe minority monsters could be a main thing that ties into what I’d like to see!

Obviously it is your choice. But I would absolutly love to read something like that!

Oh my god I’d be willing to pay for that, buy a book or something, that sounds great! I’ve always loved your comics and would love to see something like that. You know your comics were some of my first exposure to the LGBTQIAP community? I learned a lot and was glad I read them.

It is not a sexual minority, but have you ever thought about putting a faithful character (whichever the religion) who is open-minded and doesn’t shove its way through everyone’s throat?

Thank you for your hard work TAB :3

hey so the cross-dressing.. please don’t make it offensive. or just don’t do it at all. it could very easily come off as stereotyping and transphobic. maybe do a demigender next, or an aromatic allosexual.

I think it’ll be handled maturely. If you’ve looked at the other comics on this site, everything’s handled in a mature and careful manner!

i’m pretty sure if anyone knows how to not be offensive about people’s identities, it’s Tab.

Hey, thanks for the comment, but these comics have always been about educating people through humour, if it’s offensive then I’m not doing my job properly!

I trust in Tab, but I am very curious how a cross-dressing centaur is even possible, as centaurs normally wear no clothes at all. At least the centaurs I know.

Shoot! All the options look so good!

Vlad sounds like a vampire that’s popped up in nearly roleplaying game I’ve ever been in: Jorje, the hemophobic vampire. He started off as a joke, but quickly became a very endeared character.

Cross dressing centaur? I’m actually planning on doing some cross dressing this weekend to help understand what it’s like for my trans and gender fluid friends.

A heteroflexible hippogriff? I’m curious how Tab will depict heteroflexibility in relation to mythological creatures, and how he’ll draw a hippogriff.

The aromantic siren basically writes itself. I expect it’ll be the same basic plot as the asexual succubus. Kinda predictable.

Voting up the centaur, just because I’m attempting some gender-bending this weekend :-X

Does aromantic necessarily mean asexual? If someone’s still sexual, but is aromantic, how does that work? That’s something I’d like to know more about.

I’m basically the opposite, being a romantic asexual, but there are people out there who feel no romantic attraction, but have sexual attraction. I think on that one, a big stereotype is that they’re always male or males are more naturally this way.
I think just generally non-matching sexual and romantic attractions would be good to represent.

nope, aromantic and asexual are different. (though they “align,” for lack of a better term, in aro aces like me) :) aromantic sexuals feel sexual attraction, but don’t feel romantic attraction- vastly oversimplified, they want sex but not a relationship.

Oh yeah. Took the words right outta my mouth.

It’s not hard to imagine people being in purely sexual relationships that are just that:ssexual relationships. No deep, meaningful conversations. No heart-to-heart confessions of devotion. Just straight up, raw, sex.

          …

          I mean, that’s one way to describe it. Then again, we’re talking about attraction, not behavior ^_^;

Why wouldn’t people in sexual-but-not-romantic relationships be able to have deep meaningful conversations? You don’t need to be in love to have those. Platonic or ‘friends-with-benefits’ type relationships can be just as deep and meaningful as romantic relationships!

But besides that, yes. Basically, people who are aromantic but not asexual might experience sexual attraction to specific people and enjoy sex (e.g. in a casual or friends-with-extras arrangement, although obviously that’s not a given and it varies hugely from person to person) but don’t experience romantic feelings for people or desire for a romantic relationship. In the same way that asexual romantic people might experience romantic attraction and/or want a romantic relationship, but not feel sexually attracted to other people.

Aww, Frank is cute. I would definitely read another comic about him, this one has barely started, after all. We need to know how the visit goes!
