This page launched a debate with my friends over what half a demigod would be- I just went with the one I thought was easiest to say, feel free to discuss in the comments!
I’ve got a bunch of new monsters in the vote box this month- none of the old ones have been abandoned, it’s just that I know I really want to draw one of these next!
What monster should I do next?
Wait, you never explained what the “The I.M.P.S.” stood for. I was waiting to find out!
P.S. I think quadri-god works well because both quadri-/quatri- and demi- are from Latin roots. I was thinking of “tetra-god” for a moment, but that’s from the Greek.

You would be surprised. It’s all in the attitude, and being a fairy I imagine she’s got a lot of it!
Hmm. Is Dominatrix Glitterkitten a man who turns into a woman at full moon? I mean, a wereWOLF is someone who turns into a wolf … that would mean she’s a dominatrix only when the moon is full, at other times (s)he’s a submissive man …
That Dominatrix sounds crazy rad.

*Technically* it means male human–usually translated as “man”–and a woman who got bitten by a werewolf would be a wifwolf. Both of these come from an old version of German, where wereman=man, wifman=woman, which gives us the interesting fact that by etymology, the gender-neutral form of werewolf should be…wolfman.
But basically everyone uses the prefix to mean “human when the moon is not full”, yeah.

I have a question, though: when you came up with Dominatrix Glitterkitten’s character, did you plan to play with the fact that places in a wolf pack are fixed? Like, alpha female, omega male?
I know I’ll find out sooner or later, but it seems to me like a genius idea if you did :)
I believe the Alpha, Omega thing is something that people only witness in captured wolf groups, so there’s one theory that it’s just a response to stress!
If you follow the naming scheme for musical notes, you could call them a demisemigod!

Right. So. I don’t know why I never looked up what demisexual was, but now I have and I’m fucking crying because that’s me. I’m not asexual and I know it, but I’m also 27 and have never really been in a relationship and don’t really “date”. Mostly when people talk about “being single”, it really means they’re casually dating around. Well, that’s not what I’m doing either. Being an introvert doesn’t help, and I’m starting to feel left behind.
My dad’s starting to think I am asexual. It’s not that he has a problem with that; it’s not that I would have a problem with that. And I’m not defending myself against being asexual because I’m afraid of him thinking that, I’m defending myself because it’s NOT TRUE.
It’s hard to defend yourself when all the evidence says otherwise. So thank you so much for making these and therefore educating me and providing a little bit of evidence in my favor.
I love all of these, and I’ve been following your work since last year’s Kickstarter, and of course went through all the archives, and greatly look forward to your future stories. As a (mostly) straight, cis person, for the past several years, I’ve been trying to gain a better understanding of other points of view through genuine queer and genderqueer works such as yours, and I’ve come understand certain other things about myself, but I’ve never had anything resonate with me so strongly as this.

You’re describing my life with your comment. I didn’t know what demisexual was until last year, now I proudly identify as one. I also have to go and print this off and tape it to my wall <3
I wonder what the P on their belt and cloak stand for?
Is that her actual name, or is it just the nickname arising from what her mother’s perpetually instructing her to do?
